Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of deposwift.com and the remote deposition services provided by DepoSwift, operated by CB Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us"). By submitting a deposition request or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
DepoSwift provides remote deposition coordination services including:
- Scheduling and assignment of certified court reporters
- Secure video conferencing platform access and technical support
- Exhibit management and breakout room facilitation
- Certified transcript preparation and delivery
- Video and audio recording of proceedings
All court reporters provided through DepoSwift are certified in their respective jurisdictions. You are responsible for confirming that the reporter's certification satisfies the requirements of the applicable court or jurisdiction.
2. Booking and Confirmation
A deposition request submitted through our site or via email is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from DepoSwift. We aim to confirm within one (1) business hour of receiving a complete request. Confirmed bookings are binding upon both parties.
3. Fees and Payment
Fees for deposition services will be quoted at the time of booking confirmation. Invoices are issued following completion of the deposition. Payment is due within thirty (30) days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- More than 48 hours before scheduled start: No cancellation fee.
- 24–48 hours before scheduled start: 50% of the quoted fee.
- Less than 24 hours before scheduled start: 100% of the quoted fee.
Rescheduling requests received more than 48 hours in advance are accommodated at no charge, subject to reporter and platform availability.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate case and scheduling information at the time of booking
- Ensure all participants have a stable internet connection and compatible device
- Comply with all applicable rules of civil procedure governing depositions
- Obtain any required court authorizations for remote depositions in your jurisdiction
- Ensure that all participants are aware that the deposition is being recorded
6. Confidentiality
All case information and deposition content shared with DepoSwift is treated as confidential. We will not disclose deposition materials to any third party except as required by law or with your express written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DepoSwift's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific deposition giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of testimony due to technical failure outside our reasonable control.
In the event of a technical failure attributable to DepoSwift that prevents completion of a scheduled deposition, we will reschedule at no additional charge or provide a full refund of fees paid.
8. Intellectual Property
Certified transcripts and recordings are the property of the retaining attorney or law firm. DepoSwift retains no ownership interest in deposition content. The DepoSwift name, logo, and website content are owned by CB Solutions LLC and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
